A recent survey of 1,169 voters showed that more than half of the participants (51%) are against the creation of a strategic crypto reserve in the United States. While 34% of respondents supported this idea, 15% stated they have no definite opinion on the matter.

Among Republicans, 41% expressed support for the crypto reserve, but 40% of those surveyed are against it. Meanwhile, among Democrats, a majority, 59%, do not support the initiative, and only 29% agree with the proposal to create a state crypto reserve.

Additionally, 45% of voters believe that the US government should reduce funding for research and development in the field of blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies. These initiatives are perceived as less of a priority compared to sectors such as artificial intelligence and space programs. 10% of respondents suggested increasing the budget to support the cryptocurrency industry.

Meanwhile, analysts at Grayscale report that about 40% of wealthy American investors have expressed a desire to invest in bitcoin.
